Hello Everyone,
It’s been a huge week in crypto, with a Thursday pump that’s leaving everyone wondering whether this is just some temporary relief from downward price action, or the start of the next leg of this bullmarket.
We’ve dug deep and found insider information on a new Social Fi application that everyone’s talking about, and news on an airdrop that you could have gotten if you were reading this Substack last week! Insight into the Solana network outage and why in the end it pumped the price; a new ERC standard that links NFTs to memecoins, and DeGods’ next move.

Wormhole Airdrop Announced
Did you follow our advice last week?
Last week we posted about how there was fierce competition for cross chain bridges. We said that both Layer Zero and Wormhole were expected to announce airdrops very soon. Hopefully you acted fast, because Wormhole announced that the snapshot for their airdrop took place on Wednesday February 7th, 6 days after our tip last week.Â
We don’t know what the exact requirements will be for the airdrop, or the minimum amount that needed to be bridged, but it’s expected that anyone who sent at least a few hundred dollars through one of Wormhole’s bridges like Portal will qualify for the airdrop. There are also rumors that holders of certain NFT projects like Y00ts, will also be rewarded. The token will be launching sometime this month, so it will be happening very quickly. Make sure you stay tuned for the claim details. We will keep you posted with any updates in the substack.
Tokenomics Breakdown:
For now, you can go to Wormholescan and type in your address to see if you made any transactions on the network. If you did, there’s a good chance you made it in time. Â
Now that we know the snapshot has already been taken for Wormhole, it's time to turn our full attention to Layer Zero, and we need to act fast here too. Layer Zero is Wormhole’s main competition, so now they are going to be motivated to launch their token so Wormhole doesn't capture all the hype.
This means we can probably expect a Layer Zero airdrop in the next two months.
Here’s some easy ways to qualify:
Bid on multichain domain names at Clusters.
Use the Jumper Bridge, and when routing through jumper, select the Stargate option when possible, because Stargate is also a Layer Zero product.Â
